One Response to “How do I go about setting up a big scrap book convention?”

    night or convention?

A rather big difference in scale. Scrap book night implies a dozen or two people showing up. A scrapbook convention sounds like you’re talking about booths, sponsors, and actual events. In that case it sounds like you want someone to do a ton of work for you, so what are you going to offer them?

You could easily sponsor a scrapbook night, try finding a local scrapbook store, some former camera stores do that sort of thing. In this case it sounds like you ‘re looking for people that actually think scrap booking is an enjoyable experience.
What can you offer a store like that?
Is it reasonable to expect them to want to come to your venue?
Are there actually these people in the area?
Where are these people getting their scrapbook stuff?
Does that place already have events?
